Fabric

The high-quality Polyester fabric impresses with its dense, soft and slightly wooly surface. The fabric falls beautifully evenly and ensures a warm, homely look.

Due to its material thickness, the curtain offers a good insulating effect as well as pleasant sound insulation.

The sound absorption coefficient is 0.85 - this means that the curtain absorbs around 85% of the impacting sound waves and thereby significantly reduces the reverberation in the room, resulting in noticeably quieter and more pleasant room acoustics leads.

Important note on the acoustic function

An acoustic curtain is used to dampen the sound in the room and improve the room acoustics. However, it cannot replace a solid wall and does not provide complete sound insulation.

MALOJA reduces reverberation and reduces noise, but is not designed to completely block sound. Structural measures are necessary for effective noise protection.

Hanging & assembly

The curtain is equipped with a universal pleated tape and offers you several hanging options - very flexible according to your needs.

This is how you can hang the curtain:

• With Clic gliders: These are easily threaded into the small, transparent openings in the pleated tape on the back and then into the Curtain rail clicked in
• With curtain rod: There are additional hidden loops integrated into the pleat tape through which you can pull a curtain rod up to a maximum of 4 cm in diameter

This is how the pleat tape works:

• There are pull cords on the back with which you can pull the fabric together can
• The crimping automatically creates an even, elegant pleated look
• You decide for yourself how tight or loose the pleats should fall

Note:

Included in delivery are per finished curtains 20 Maxi-Clic gliders for 6mm rails included. If Mini-Clic gliders for 4 mm rails are desired, please note this request in the comments field when ordering.

Width & folding

The specified measurement corresponds to the width of the smooth, unruffled fabric. By curling, the width is reduced and the curtain has a nice, even drape.

Recommendation: For a window width of approx. 150 cm, we recommend two curtains so that the blackout, insulation and appearance are optimally accentuated.

Closure & drape

The curtain has a classic hem that ensures a smooth and even fall.

Shortening the curtain

MALOJA can easily be adjusted in length without sewing. The scope of delivery includes a thermal tape (paper tape).

How to shorten the curtain:

• Measure the length
• Insert the thermal tape
• Fix with the iron
• Cleanly shortened - without a sewing machine

Wash the curtain

The polyester fabric is easy to care for and machine washable. Even after frequent washing, the fabric retains its shape and retains its dense structure.
